Lacquer & Line

About

One chair, by design.

Lacquer & Line opened in a 300 square foot room off a quiet Northwest Portland street with a single table, a single lamp and the idea that a nail appointment should feel like time taken rather than time spent. We book one client at a time. There is no second chair, no walk-in line, and no one waiting for your seat. Every set gets the full appointment it was booked for.

The work leans structural: a proper apex, a clean cuticle line, shapes that hold for four weeks. Art is drawn by hand with a fine brush rather than stamped, which is why the line work on our menu is priced by level and why we ask for references. The press-on sets in the shop are made at the same table, between appointments, in the same materials.
